FAQ

Vehicle wrap questions

How much does a vehicle wrap cost in Chicago?

We price every job by the square foot, so cost follows vehicle size and coverage. At Sheridan Print, spot graphics start at $350, full wraps range from $3,000 to $7,000 depending on vehicle size, and partial wraps fall in between.

Send us the year, make, and model (or box length), plus your logo, and we will send back a mockup and an exact square-foot price. Read the full cost guide.

How long does a vehicle wrap take to install?

Most single vans and pickups are installed in one to two days once the design is approved and printed. Box trucks and full fleets are scheduled in phases so your vehicles keep working. We give you an install date when you approve the design.

How long does a vehicle wrap last?

Life depends on the film, the laminate, how much sun and salt the vehicle sees, and how it is washed. Quality cast vinyl with a protective laminate typically lasts several years on a work vehicle. We tell you the manufacturer-rated life of the exact film we quote, and give you care instructions for Chicago winters.

Can a wrap damage my paint?

On factory paint in good condition, a professionally installed and removed wrap protects the paint underneath. Rust, chips, aftermarket respray, or peeling clear coat can lift when vinyl is removed, so we inspect the surface before quoting and tell you about any risk up front.

Full wrap or partial wrap: which do I need?

A full wrap covers the whole vehicle and gives you the most visual impact, especially on box trucks and food trucks. A partial wrap covers a section, usually the sides and rear, and blends into the vehicle's paint color. Partials are a strong value on white or black work vans. We mock up both so you can compare.

Can you just do lettering with my phone number and logo?

Yes. Spot graphics start at $350 and are the most affordable way to brand a work vehicle. They are also a good first step before a full wrap.
