Storefront window graphics: your options
There are four main types of storefront window graphics: cut vinyl lettering for names, hours, and phone numbers; full-color printed graphics for promotions; perforated film that shows a full image outside while you can still see out; and frosted film for privacy. Most storefronts combine two or three of them.

The four types
- Cut vinyl lettering. Crisp, single-color lettering for your name, hours, phone, and website. Clean and long-lasting.
- Printed graphics. Full-color images and promotions. Easy to swap when your offer changes.
- Perforated window film. Shows a full image from outside while staff can still see out. Good for large panes.
- Frosted or privacy film. Blocks the view into offices, clinics, and back rooms while still letting light through.
What to put on the glass
- Business name and what you do.
- Phone number and website.
- Hours, near the door.
- Your top three services or a current offer.
Collins Family Movers uses the full storefront: a large logo and phone number on the main pane, a services list on the side panes, and hours on the door.
Measure on site, every time
Window frames, mullions, door hardware, and reflections vary from storefront to storefront. We measure on site before we design, so every panel fits its opening.
Before you install
If you rent, check your lease for any rules about window signs, and check with the City or your landlord for any sign rules that apply to your building.
